Having a whale of a time and the upcoming Festival of Performing Arts!

Cedric the Cumberland Bear here, coming to you from the chilly but beautiful shores of Louttit Bay in Lorne! From my home at Cumberland Lorne Resort, we have been lucky enough to catch a couple of sightings of the whales as they cruise on past. That's right! Such an amazing sight. If you want to be on the alert to do a bit of whale chasing yourself (safe and sound on the shore of course!) keep up to date with our mammal friends on the Great Ocean Road website. There are a few recent photographs of  the whales in the bay which pop up with other great Lorne news on the Cumberland facebook page. We'll be adding more and more info to this, so be sure to tell us you like us! We like you too!

In addition to keeping our eyes open for whales, we're getting very excited about the upcoming Lorne Festival of  Performing Arts! I was lucky enough to have a chat with the Artistic Director of the Festival, and I must say there are many performances that I'm VERY keen to see. Lucky I have my ticket!
